Everyone knows him as one of the former Speedboarders of the Year but we know him to be more of wombat or some other overly tough animal. His degree in kinesiology or whatever that physical education course is has set him on a path of total body temple enlightenment. Apparently good health affects skateboarding because he is really tough to race against but he’s been having a hard time getting the rest of the team to wake up and go jogging at 6 in the morning. Niko is going to get his new very well deserved pro-model this summer but he’ll need to stay up past his normal bed-time to come work on it with Ian.

4- When did you start riding skateboards?
I never started riding tricks skateboards.
5- When was your first time on a longboard and what setup were you riding?
I started longboarding in 2002 and I was riding a super bouncy Sector9
6- Who were your early downhill influences if any?
JimZ! I learned a lot from him, racing lines, races strategy, toes side one hand slide...
JF Boily was my big foot braking influence... lol!
7- Best spot you skated?
Too many... The best challenging spot was Ascutney. Tons of hairpins on a 18% grade.
8- What is your ideal session like?
Good friends, fast and technical spot, no waiting, a driver and some beers in front of a bonefire after.

lol! Really don't know. When I see a longboard or a snowboard on the friend request profile picture, I always accept even if I don't know that person. So maybe half of it.

None... I always want to go skate

16- Can you drop in a vert ramp?
I dropped like 10 times in my life and it had no vert.
17- What is your favorite setup right now and why?
For fast ride, my JimZ Flushcut with JimZ trucks and Abec11 wheels. For tech ride, a short version of a Revenger with jimZ trucks and Abec11 wheels
18- What’s that little thing you do to your setups that makes them feel way better?
I change my griptape too often.
19- What's the best race you've attended and why?
Paskapoo, everything was good, we even have chairlift rides!
